Shipping Policy

At All About Couches, we aim to provide high-quality couches at affordable prices, which includes making our shipping process as simple and transparent as possible. Below are the details of our shipping rates, dispatch, and delivery guidelines.

Shipping Rates

We offer two types of shipping depending on your location:

1.    Local Delivery: Available in Cape Town at a fee of R850

2.    National Delivery: Available starting at R1500 and is dependent on your postal code

Dispatch Lead Time

The dispatch lead time refers to the period between when we receive your order and when our logistics team arranges for dispatch. The lead time varies depending on the type of order placed:

•      Made-to-Order Items: These require production time and may take longer.

•      Ready-to-Ship Items: These are stock items and will be processed faster.

Please note, dispatch times may be affected if your order is part of a promotion.

Delivery Lead Time

The delivery lead time is the time it takes for your order to be delivered to your address after dispatch from our factory. The lead time will depend on the location of your order:

•      Local Delivery: Items are shipped directly from our closest factory.

•      National Delivery: Major cities typically receive orders in 3-5 days, and outlying areas may take 6-10 days, as we coordinate with delivery partners and regional schedules.

Delivery Hours: Deliveries are scheduled between 9:00 and 17:00 on weekdays, unless otherwise arranged.

Delivery Process

We strive to deliver on or before the estimated time of arrival (ETA) provided during checkout. If any delays arise, our logistics team will contact you with an updated status.

Upon completion of your order, our logistics team will reach out to confirm delivery details. For local delivery, we will confirm a suitable delivery time. For national delivery, an estimated time will be provided.

Delivery Guidelines

•      Before placing your order, ensure your entrance and passages are measured to confirm the furniture can fit.

•      We work with reputable delivery partners to ensure safe delivery.

•      It is your responsibility to ensure there is reasonable access to the delivery location, especially in terms of vehicle access, narrow spaces, and stairs.

•      Upon delivery, the goods will be unwrapped and inspected. Please check for any visible damage and note it on the Proof of Delivery (POD) form before signing. We cannot accept liability for damages reported after delivery.

Changing the Delivery Date

We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your new request.

Exports

We offer shipping to neighboring African countries. If you'd like to ship outside South Africa, please email info@allaboutcouches.co.za for a quote.
